Program Fees and Payments
The Firecrackers Softball Organization Annual Program Fee includes the following:
* One practice jersey with number
* One fall tournament or multiple scrimmages
* Winter workouts (facility TBD)
* Six summer tournaments
* One player bag (as needed)
* One batting helmet (as needed)
* Two sets of custom uniforms (shirts and pants)
* One uniform belt
* Three pairs of uniform socks
Program Fees are due in full upon acceptance of a spot on a team. We allow parents to pay the program fee in four installments over a six month period on the schedule below. Paying in installments is to allow parents to budget easier but payments must be made on time or the player may be excluded from team activities (fall tournaments, winter workouts, etc.). We rely on every account being current so we can cover uniforms, equipments, and entry fees for tournaments which are all generally due by March every year. Program Fees are not refundable. The Program Fee for the 2023-2024 season is $1600.
* First payment in the amount of $400 is due upon accepting a spot on a team (prior to first practice)
* Second payment in the amount of $400 is due on October 15, 2023
* Third payment in the amount of $400 is due on February 15, 2024
* Final payment in the amount of $400 is due on March 15, 2024
Any parent needing to make alternate payment arrangements should contact Cheryl Collins as early in the process as possible. We will work within the payment schedule to set up an alternate payment plan (weekly, monthly) so that all payments are made by the due dates. We can also offer suggestions for fundraising that you can do for your daughter. Contact CherylLCollins@gmail.com.
Program Fee payments can be made by check. Checks should be payable to Firecrackers Softball and include your daughter’s name and age division/team on the memo line. Checks should be mailed to: Firecrackers Softball, C/O Cheryl Collins, 88 11th Street, Lowell, MA 01850.
All parents may be required to sign an agreement stating that they understand the payment schedule and will keep their accounts current, that they understand there are no refunds of any Program Fees for any reason, and that they have committed to pay the entire Program Fee for the entire season. We have limited spots on each team and we are giving one of those spots to your daughter. We are turning away other players so your daughter can play in our program. If you decide to leave the program mid-season, it is very, very hard to find a replacement to take her spot but the expenses we incur for that team do not change. We count on every member of every team to make all four payments by their due dates.
