Fundraising

You can raise funds together as a team or individually to offset program fees or travel expenses.  In addition to teams hosting  a venue at NSA tournaments (running concessions and maintaining the fields at NSA tournaments events in Dracut), teams have had success hosting corn hole tournaments, fundraising sales, and canning at stores or supermarkets.  Pretty much anything is on the table as long as it is legal and you get all proper permission and permits.   If you need some help with arranging a fundraiser for your child, you can talk to your daughter’s coach or reach out to Cheryl for some suggestions.  Some ideas are:

1. Hold a Car Wash — It’s more than just good clean fun, it’s also a great way to raise funds!

2. Host a Spaghetti Dinner — Spaghetti is a low-cost meal that’s easy to make in large amounts, and everyone loves it! Another fun, low-cost fundraising meal option is a pancake breakfasts.

3.  Team Sponsor Banner — If your coach is on board, you could get sponsors to advertise on a team banner that is hung up at every game the team plays.

4.  Selling Items People Want — You can sell candy bars, candles, pies, wrapping paper, etc. — anything that you think would be something popular and profitable.
